Exploring inside and outside

This week, we’ve been making the most of our lovely outdoor space by exploring the sunflowers planted by last year’s Nursery class.

The children have been using their fine motor skills to carefully pluck the seeds from the centre of the sunflowers. They also used their senses, especially touch and sight, to investigate the texture, shape and colours of the sunflowers.

It’s been a lovely hands-on experience, helping the children to observe and explore the natural world around them.
