Prayers in RE

This week in RE Year 5 have been writing prayers for their class prayer book. They thought about the different parts or types of prayer - praise, thanks, hope and forgiveness. Year 5 carefully thought about what to include in their prayers, and what is important to them. We discussed how to write prayers that provoke spirituality and thoughtfulness. Year 5 wrote their own prayers and published them in the Class Prayer Book. This will be used every day to say a prayer as a class and have a moment of reflection before the end of the day.
