Science Workshop

This term, in Science, we are learning about Materials, in particular the different states of matter. 

The children had the opportunity to start off this topic with a science workshop led by Setpoint. The children were able to get hands-on and use their scientific skills in different practical investigations.

The investigations included testing the hardness of different materials, using a chemical reaction to inflate a balloon, creating a lava lamp, and colour chromatography (separating colours). 

Thank you to the parent volunteers for their incredible help and support. We are very much looking forward to applying this experience into our science learning.
