St Andrew's C of E (VA) Primary

We have had a great start to the New Year in Nursery. The children have been very welcoming, and it has been lovely to get to know them all and hear about their Christmas holidays! They have all settled back in very well, and it is evident that they remember their classroom routines and expectations from term 1. Last week, we started exploring traditional tales in literacy and shapes in maths. We looked at paintings by Wassily Kandinsky and talked about the different shapes we could see. We have also been thinking about the seasons and the type of weather we see at this time of year. We talked about what we might see when we go outside in winter, what we might wear, and how the cold weather affects different animals. We look forward to an exciting year ahead.
