A Busy Time in Year 5

This is always a very busy time of year and 2020 is no exception.

Our Christmas preparations are well underway and one of our main tasks has been to create Japanese style angels. As you can see from the photographs, the quality of the children's work has been exceptional.

In addition to this, we have been conducting science investigations into thermal insulation. We have tested variables such as number of layers, colour and material type. We used our maths skills to present the results as line graphs.

Finally, in P.E. we have conclude our Mayan history topic by choreographing dances around their lives.

Year 5 wish all of our families a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
