A Scientific Week

This week, we have been learning about life cycle in both plants and animals. 

We began by setting up our germination investigation. We wanted to find out if seeds germinate more quickly in the light or the dark. 

We set up a fair test and are making observations of the seeds over time. 

On Thursday, one of our pupils brought in cabbage white butterfly which had just emerged from its chrysalis. We were able to release it into Silver Birches.
