A seaside adventure in Southwold

Yesterday, Year One went to the Southwold as part of our humanities learning this term.  Not only did we have great fun splashing in the sea and jumping over the waves, but we built some fabulous forts in the sand with deep moats and even made sand ice-creams! We enjoyed a delicious ice-cream in the afternoon before a fun walk along the pier where we enjoyed the wacky walk of mirrors. It was so much fun to see how different we looked in the mirrors!

It was such a delight to take the children out to the seaside to support our learning and the children showed our school values throughout the visit. The children's behaviour was exemplary and they all represented the school so well - the Year One team were very proud of all of them. Well done, Year One!
