A visit from the local MP

As part of our PSHE learning journey, Year 3 invited the local MP, Bim Afolami to talk about democracy. Our Big question this term is 'What is it like to live in a democratic country?' It has been a valuable experience to learn about democracy and what it is like to be a politician from Mr Afolami. The children came well prepared with a wide range of questions to ask - apart from the questions linked to democracy, the class also learnt about Mr Afolami's favourite football team and his favourite school subject.
