Antarctic Explorers - Mapping skills

After our discoveries last week about Magnetic North, we took our compasses with us and explored a satellite image of the school, trying to locate key features on the map with where they are outside, and describing it using our positional and locational language.

We decided that we needed to practise a bit more if we are to become proper Polar explorers by the end of term!
