Antarctica

Year 1 welcomed Dr Susie Grant, a scientist who works for the British Antarctica Survey into our class today. Susie shared with the class some amazing photographs and talked about the research work, her and her team have completed in Antarctica. Excitingly the children were then able to try on some of the clothes that the scientists would wear when working in Antarctica. The children learnt so much about the 'white continent' and about the spectacular animals that live there.
