Art in Year 3

In Art, Year 3 have been developing mark-making with different media and colour  mixing. This week we combined these skills to create a piece of art on a spinning circle of paper, in a link to our artefacts work in music.  Some of us used charcoal and paint; some of us just painted, using a range of implements including paintbrushes, dried flower heads and fingers. We all mixed paint so that the colours we used reflected how the music made us feel. We plan to display all of our art in our classroom.
