Art walk in Hitchin

    On Wednesday, Year 2 walked into Hitchin to sketch the historical buildings for our art project linking to the Great Fire of London. We learnt that St Mary's Church in Hitchin dates back as far as 1086 and there is evidence that what is now Halseys café, is from 1500. We enjoyed thinking about buildings like these being around during the Great Fire. We put all of our sketching techniques into practice and were very lucky that it didn't rain! A big thank you to our parent helpers who came along to help keep us safe.
