Building in the Stone Age

In History this term Year 3 have been learning about life for early Britons. As part of that work, we decided it would be interesting to try to build mini versions of the type of dwelling a Stone Age person might have lived in during the summer.

In Silver Birches, Year 3 worked in groups to find a good base camp, gather resources and then build a structure which stayed up and was waterproof. There were some very beautiful homes constructed, despite the rain!
