Cloud Busting in Year 5

Year 5 have started a very unusual book this week. By Malorie Blackman, it tells the story of a friendship between Sam and the new boy in school, Davey, aka Fizzy Feet. The whole book is written in verse; the language is accessible but also very effective in describing the developing friendship. And there is a twist! Ask your child to ell you what they think so far!
