Conscience Alley
Throughout the month of September, we have been focusing on the text 'Leon and the place between'.
This week, the children became the main character's voices of reason, encouraging him to or to not step into the magical box.
After writing our persuasive sentences, we stepped outside of the classroom and formed a conscience alley. This is where the children writing and speaking against stepping into the box stand on one side and the children who are for stand on the other. As our main character, 'Leon' walked through the alley the children would whisper their sentence in their best attempt at convincing Leon to choose their side.
At the end of the alley, our Leon decided he would not be stepping into the box!
