Do you wanna build a snowman?

The long awaited snow day finally arrived! What a great time we had exploring outside, wrapped up in our hats, coats and scarves. Some of the children (inspired by Frozen) decided to build an 'Olaf' snowman. Not satisfied with just a little snowman, they wanted to build the world's tallest snowman. 'How many snowballs will he be?' 'Do another one, do another one!' - And what a fantastic opportunity to stretch their mathematic thinking... 'If we add 2 more balls, how tall will he be?' Children learn the most when they don't realise they're learning!
