It fell from the sky

We have been reading the story – “It Fell From The Sky”, about a selfish spider who manipulates his friends and fellow inhabitants into making him wealthy.

The children developed stories from the point of view of the spider, describing his character and how he generated the ideas to get money from the other creatures. They made the stories into little books that the parents of year 1 will have received from the children.

In class we built a large spider and web to display the children’s work before going off for judging in the writing competition.
