Exploration

This week, year 5 performed their class assembly around the theme of exploration. We talked about three main areas - space exploration, historical exploration that helped us to understand Mayan culture and the Endurance Expedition carried out by Shackleton and his crew. 

Some of the highlights included a space dance, an interview with the winning team captain and an audience member of a pok-a-tok game and an election to decide which planet we thought was the best. 

All the children performed their roles with great confidence and should be very proud of themselves.
