Finding Fractions

This week the children have been working hard to find fractions of shapes and amounts. This is a new topic and they have excelled in their learning throughout the first week.

We have also been exploring our new class text 'Zeraffa Giraffa' where the children have been writing letters and using their habitat knowledge to think about where a giraffe belongs and why the journey it is about to take is a danger for it!

Starting lots of new topics has been really exciting in year 2 this week, the children have had opportunities to program using the iPads and have begun to learn about Judaism.
