Geography in Year 4

Year 4 have been busy preparing ourselves for our Hudnall Park orienteering  activity. We have developed a wide range of mapping skills. 

We began by learning how to use a compass to find different directions. After that, we learnt about plan drawing and used aerial photographs from Google Maps to draw a plan of our local area. Finally we will be learning how to read 4 digit grid references. 

After all of that, hopefully nobody will get lost.
