Hot seating and question-writing in English
As part of our continuing exploration of our CLPE book Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers, the children hot seated as the Penguin or The boy and composed questions using pre-taught questioning vocabulary which showed their knowledge of the story so far. Will they get to the South POle? How will they know when they are half-way there?
As a plenary, the children led interviews in role and applied their One Voice value in evaluating the characters' responses.
