Instructions and commands

This week, the children have started writing commands as instructions for a text they’ll write about going on an imaginative journey!

They have built on their learning throughout the week, adding adverbs, prepositions and finally, today, direct speech.

For example:

Walk silently down the hallway until the headmistress calls, “Stop!”
