Investigating shell structures

Year 3 have been investigating a variety of shell structures. After evaluating cardboard packaging, the children had a go at making their first prototype using a selection of 2D shapes. We learnt about the nets that make 3D shapes and so the children made a selection of cuboids, cubes and even a triangular prism!
