Jambo Bwana Time

Today we let loose our singing voices and learnt the Swahilii  greeting song 'Jambo Bwana - meaning 'Hi Sir, how are you?.' The children improvised the rhythms using found objects and stationery and sang each line once, then attempted a canon! 

Who would have thought the ruler and pencil would double for a guiro?  Perhaps more practice is needed before we can play and sing the harmony too......
