KNEX Challenge

Setpoint visitied Year 5 again recently to provide a KNEX workshop. The children were challenged to make a crane which could lift a small bucket. In pairs the children created designs for their cranes then began construction. Over the course of the workshop, the design ideas developed to overcome any issues the children faced with their original designs. Lots of ingenuity was demonstrated as the pairs discussed and evolved their ideas. Although all designs were very successful, the winning pair were William and Aman whose simple and effective design was well constructed and met the brief.
