Light in Year 3

In Science this term we are  learning about light and shadows. In one investigation we explored what we could see of several objects in a closed box. We investigated a variety of scenarios including what we could see if there were no holes, a few holes, holes in the top or sides and when shining a torch through one hole and looking into an adjacent one. We worked out that we can't see anything at all in the dark and that we could only see objects in the line of the torchlight. We also found out that neither the light nor our sight could go around corners.
