Local Historians
As part of the learning about the local history, Year 3's big Question was 'Do the Radcliffe Family deserve their monuments?' The children went on a local walk to the graveyard and St Mary's church to make their judgement. Lots of interesting observations were made and lots of interesting questions were asked.
The children worked as historians, looking at primary sources and were able to make their hypothesis. The behaviour was immaculate, and we are very proud of all the young historians.
Thank you to the parents volunteers for their invaluable support on the day
