Matisse and Milhazes

In art this term, the children have been creating work inspired by French artist Henri Matisse and Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.

The children created collages using Matisse’s ‘drawing with scissors’ method which has a colourful energy, using organic shapes cut out or drawn and coloured in before being cutting out.
