Meeting our Buddies

This week, the Year 6 children were introduced to their Reception class buddies.  Before meeting them, they considered what qualities are needed to be a good buddy.  They thought about how they will be good role models, leading by example, showing kindness and respect, being helpful and, most importantly, having fun with their buddies!  Each day this week, they have supported the Reception children with their lunch and have enjoyed playing with them in the EYFS playground.  We are looking forward to seeing how these special relationships develop over the year.
