National Poetry Day

This week's focus in Year 3 was poetry as the children took a part in the national poetry writing competition to celebrate the National Poetry Day on Thursday 5th October.

Looking closely and examining emotions and feelings which are unique to each of us, the children wrote their poems called 'This is me'. Once the poems were written and published, the children had a pleasure to share them with the parents. It was a great turnover and the children felt super excited to read to their audience.
