Northern and Southern Hemisphere

As part of our new Geography topic, we are exploring the world and began by looking at the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. We learned that the Equator divides the world into two hemispheres.

Working in pairs, the children carried out their own research to find key information about one country in the Northern Hemisphere and one country in the Southern Hemisphere. They used their atlas skills to ensure the countries they selected were located in the correct hemisphere.
