Our Christmas Journey

This week, year 2 went on a Christmas Journey to Bethlehem. We had our passports stamped in Israel and then enjoyed an interactive re-telling of the Christmas story. We made fluffy sheep with the Sheperds, made Bibles with Anna and Simeon and made a guiding star with the wise men. We learnt about why Jesus was seen as a King and we made crowns to represent that. We met a real baby and got to sing some Christmas songs in the manger. A big thank you to our parent helpers who made it possible.
