P.E. in Hitchin Girls School

Last week the children had the chance to visit Hitchin Girls' School's new sports hall for the final time this term. Both the Girls' School students and the Year 5 children had a brilliant time. The children practised a wide range of skills in groups and make the best of the brand new facilities.
Prior to this, the class also had a visit from students from the Girls' School to teach them French. The class loved the Harry Potter themed French lessons and the Girls' School students said they really enjoyed teaching the class who were very enthusiastic about putting what they knew to the test.

Last week the Key Stage two children were also treated to a session in Miss Sharpe's French cafe whereby the children had to order their food in French.
