Partitioning numbers up to 1000 in various ways

This week we have been using manipulatives to see how many different ways we can find to partition 3-digit numbers. We have been able to exchange tens and hundreds to challenge ourselves further. We had also been drawing pictorial representations and number sentences to demonstrate our partitioning.

It is great to see Year 3 children persevering and becoming more confident young mathematicians.
