Peter Rabbit's Vegetables
Good afternoon everyone,
I hope that you are all well! Isn't this week just flying by?! I wanted to share some of the beautiful artwork that our youngest Key Worker pupils have created so far this week... After spending some time closely observing the vegetables that were found in Mr McGregor's garden (though these were picked especially from my Grandad's allotment), the children explored oil pastels to develop their own super representations. We enjoyed learning how to blend the pastels beautifully together and how you might mix the exact shade that you need using a variety of 'similar but not quite right' hues. The pieces here are representative of children aged 3-7 and I think you'll agree that they are all magnificent! Everyone was so proud of their carefully constructed artwork and thrilled to see them hanging in the classroom...
Well done to our incredible little artists! You are all amazing!
