Photos From Home

Children are really starting to enjoy sharing their news from home. Each week, a group of children are invited to bring in photos of things they have been up to in their time away from Nursery. These can be anything and often include photos from days out, family celebrations or of their pets. Together with a teacher, they discuss the photos and create a 'photoboard' which is then proudly placed in the classroom for everybody to see.

It provides the opportunity for the children to talk about their home lives with their friends and discover the different ways we all live our lives. The photoboards also allow the children to showcase their scissors skills and gluing skills. The only challenge is for the adult trying to keep up with scribing what is being said about the photos!
