Planting and growing

With the beginning of Spring, Nursery are learning about planting and growing.  This week, we shared the story Jasper's Beanstalk by Nick Butterworth and Mick Inkpen.  In the story, Jasper loses patience waiting for his bean to emerge, this gave children valuable opportunity to consider how long it takes for a plant to grow and what it needs to grow healthily.  We have planted our own individual beans too and are looking after them carefully.  Watch this space!
