Pond dipping with Class 1A

Today we have been 'Aquatic Beast detectives!' and spent some time carefully exploring the pond area and discovering some newts, tadpoles and pond skaters.

Back in class we drew an observational drawing of our favourite aquatic beast and wrote some sentences describing it.  Our favourite was the orange-yellow newt -'the golden newt with pink, curly toes'!
