Publishing Biographies

Having gone through the processes of ideas gathering, planning, drafting, editing and proofreading, we finally reached the stage of publishing our biographies. 

We each took a crew member from Shackleton's expedition to the Antarctica to write a biography about. 

As we wrote, we kept in mind our aim which was to give our readers as much information and interesting detail as possible. To do this we used the tools of relative clauses and compound sentences. 

Our books will now be shared with year 4 and placed in our class library for others to read.
