Pyjamarama Day
Good afternoon Nursery,
I hope you are all well! I just wanted to pop on to the blog today to let you know about something fun that is happening this Friday...
Every year, the Booktrust holds an event called 'Pyjamarama' (usually in June). This year, they have changed the date to this Friday (1st May) so that you can join in with your family from home. It celebrates the enjoyment of sharing stories together at bedtime by encouraging everyone to wear their pyjamas during the day and exploring some fun, bookish activities including listening to story songs, making and playing story puzzles, even learning how to draw like your favourite illustrators! If you think that you might like to join in or would like to find out more, here is the link to their website which is jam-packed with exciting story inspired activities:

Check out the 'activities and downloads' section for links to stories read by David McKee, illustration masterclasses with Ed Vere, Marta Altes and Steve Antony, and printable challenges from PJ Masks... (not a book I know, but still very exciting!)
I hope you all have a wonderful week filled with stories!
Best wishes, Miss Farrant
