RE VISITORS IN YEAR 6

We have been very lucky today to have some incredibly interesting visitors into year 6 to support and extend our learning in RE.

This morning Reverend Jane (known to many of us as Amelie's mum!) visited us in class. She came in to help us explore how the Christian belief in Incarnation impacts on practice and what is important about how Christmas is celebrated. The children had some very challenging questions for her.

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome PHASE who ran a really interesting and enjoyable workshop called 'Christmas unwrapped'. They helped us explore some myths around the story of Jesus' birth and we found out some rather surprising things.
