Science Week in Reception

We learnt all about worms and enjoyed finding them on our Outside Area. We made them a temporary home of dead leaves, soil, sand and water while we observed them.

"They are all shorter than my worms at home."

"Look at the little lines on their bodies."

"They like it when it's dark and wet."

We then set them free back in their original habitat (our raised beds) where we knew they would happiest.
