Over the last few weeks, we have been planning a range of seasonal recipes using more seasonal ingredients.
We have researched the value in cooking using food in season and discovered that not only is it cheaper, healthier and much more tasty but it helps our environment. Seasonal foods do not have to travel so far and therefore do not cause so much pollution.
Our meals included both savoury and sweet dishes. A bit thank you goes out the Miss Thompson who not only provided us with the ingredients but helped us to cook it.
