Seasonal Feasting
During our design and technology lessons, we have be been learning about the value of eating food that is in season.
We discovered that not only is it healthier, it tastes better and because it doesn't have to be transported so far, is better for our environment.
Each group was set the challenge of creating a season crumble or a vegetable pasta sauce recipe. (Our class obviously has a sweet tooth, as they all choose to make crumble!)
During the lessons they also learnt how to prepare food safely and developed their peeling and chopping skills.
