Have you ever wondered exactly how how large the different planets are and how far apart they are?

Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about the different planets, their qualities and their relationship to one another. 

In the picture above we are creating a fruit solar system. This was to help us visualise the relative sizes of the different planets and the distances between them. 

We then processes a range of planetary data and looked for patterns. 

Below are pictures of graphs showing the relationship between  the distance from the sun and planets average temperature. We have also looked at the relationship between the distance from the sun and the planets year length.
