Space

We have been exploring all things Space! Exploring all areas of the curriculum through Space themed learning. 

In Literacy we have read many Space stories aswell as lots of non-fiction text! It has been great to see the children take ownership over their learning, deciding to bring in their own books for the class to explore.

Through exploring the text 'Whatever Next' by Jill Murphy, we have been learning that we can write for different purposes. This includes writing lists, party invitations and labelling pictures. 

We have also become astronauts through our space station role play, complete with our space suits and rockets!
