Spring has Sprung!

Reception have been busy outside looking for signs of spring. We have noticed buds appearing on plants, birds singing in trees and lots of minibeasts in the soil! We have learnt the names of some spring flowers: snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils and primroses. 

We spent some time weeding and digging the soil in our outdoor planters, to make it ready for planting. We have decided we would like to grow: chillis, sunflowers, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, poppies and sunflowers.
