The Battle of Issus

This term, in History, the children have been learning about the conquests of  Alexander the Great. Our big question is 'Was Alexander the Great truly great?'. This week we looked at the Battle of Issus. 

The children discussed Alexander's victory and the Persian army's confusion. 

   Following this, the children re-enacted     the four stages of the Battle of Issus in       groups.
