The Easter Journey

This week, year 5 were lucky enough to be invited to St. Paul's Church Easter Journey in Letchworth. 

Here we experienced the events of Holy Week. We thought about the emotions of loneliness Jesus must have felt in the Garden of Gethsemane and how he showed his willingness to serve by washing his disciples feet at the Last Supper. In addition to this we heard a Roman Centurion's recount of the Crucifixion and a re-enactment of how the resurrection  was discovered. 

Each station was incredibly  atmospheric and meaningful. The members of St. Paul's Church  really brought the story to life for us.
