The Great Greek Debate!

After a long and exhausting campaign follwowing Alexander the Great as he conquers the known world 'by the spear'- including a stop at the very bloody Battle of Issus - the children are now deciding where they stand on the question of:  Was Alexander truly Great?

They are exploring his character traits and how this links with their ideas about what makes a great leader.  Tomorrow they will be evaluating each other's debates using the persuasive language thinking tool.
